Error in IdTCPServer lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- danny · 2013-04-09 12:54 I installed Lazarus in Indy, but when vai compiling gives the error below. What is missing in the installation? unit1.pas(0,0) Fatal: Can not find unit IdTCPServer used by Unit1. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ChrisF · 2013-04-09 18:19 For what OS ? Did your Indy installation complete successfully ? Without any errors ? Can you see the Indy Icons into the palette tool-bar inside Lazarus ? All of them ? You should got the IdTCPServer one into the "Indy Servers - Core" tab, for instance ? Are you using the visual components (i.e. icons) or directly accessing to the concerned class ? Anyway, what is sure is that the "IdTCPServer" unit is really existing. It's located into the Lib/Core subdirectory of Indy. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2013-04-09 22:03 Did you add a dependency in your project to the indy pkgs? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2013-04-09 22:29 take a look at http://wiki.freepascal.org/Indy_with_Lazarus and follow the number 3 solution. It is the one worked for me. Instead of adding the source code directory to every program you create I have added the source path to the package it self making auto included on new applications that is the "package options\usage\unit" has a value that looks like [$(PkgOutDir);$(PkgOutDir)\..\..\..] instead of only [$(PkgOutDir);]
