Debugging the project cgi brook? lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- andersonscinfo · 2013-04-02 21:12 Debugging the project cgi brook? is possible? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- herux · 2013-04-03 01:45 make a regular application, which has the http service. then put your web module for CGI there. easy debugging process will be done there ---------------------------------------------------------------------- andersonscinfo · 2013-04-03 02:21 I'm trying to debug the code, once you have successfully placed here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2013-04-03 09:52 AFAIK no, CGI process is started by web server in a run-once fashion. Even if you can attach debugger to a running process, it would be difficult since the process would already be terminated before you manage to attach the debugger and set a breakpoint. Use another application type like FastCGI or embedded web server to debug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- andersonscinfo · 2013-04-03 16:40 I did, you could describe me the steps on how to debug using the embedded web server? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Silvio Clécio · 2013-04-03 16:54 In Brook (http://brookframework.org), I use the Leledumbou's broker (h ttps://github.com/silvioprog/brookframework/blob/master/brokers/brookf clhttpappbroker.pas), just using menu "File | New ... > Brook framework > Embedded server". Fast, sleek and intuitive broker. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Silvio Clécio · 2013-04-03 16:57 ... oops, use the current version, downloading it via GIT please: git clone git://github.com/silvioprog/brookframework.git ---------------------------------------------------------------------- andersonscinfo · 2013-04-03 19:39 Thanks silvio, need to do some change in ide or sources in order to use the debug? or just press F9? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Silvio Clécio · 2013-04-03 19:43 Nope. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- andersonscinfo · 2013-04-04 01:31 Thank you all.
