[solved] Synapse's httpsend fails on Mint with XFCE lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ocye · 2012-12-30 12:15 When I try to get some file from internet via http the resultcode is always 500. The code itself works well on Windows, Darwin, Linux (Gnome or KDE on Arch, SuSE, Ubuntu, Mint). For testing purpose I installed a fresh Mint13_XFCE within a Virtualbox, made all updates, and installed Lazarus/Fpc from repo (just to have a debugger). But I don't find the reason (it fails at setsin). Perhaps someone has an idea how to solve the problem. Code: [Select]uses   ...   HTTPSend, blcksock; procedure TForm1.Button1Click(Sender: TObject); const   cURL='http://www.google.de';   cFile='test.html'; begin   with THttpSend.Create do   try     HTTPMethod('GET', cUrl);     case Resultcode of       100..200 : ; //ok       301,302,307 : ; //redirect       else         raise EInOutError.Create('Download failed with error code '+inttostr(ResultCode)+' ('+ResultString+')');     end;     with TFileStream.Create(cFile,fmCreate or fmOpenWrite) do     try       Seek(0, soFromBeginning);       CopyFrom(Document, 0);     finally       Free;     end;   finally     Free;   end; end; ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dibo · 2012-12-30 12:20 Look at this topic: http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,18053.msg101294.html #msg101294 Just run command: sudo dpkg-reconfigure resolvconf and reboot ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ocye · 2012-12-30 22:22 That easy! Thanks a lot
