I meet a problom when using newst extpascal lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bills · 2012-11-27 22:17 hi all, i am a newbie to lazarus.     i download the newst extpascal from svn:http://extpascal.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ extpascal-read-only     i install the packages from folder ExtP_Toolkit, and built fmtoextp succesfully, but when i built the example hello_example\myproject1.lpi,the lazarus output message: Code: [Select]D:\0laz_project\extpascal\svn_extPascal\ExtJSWrapper\Ext .pas(7524,34) Error: Type identifier expected the source code is: Code: [Select]    function IsExcluded(ElseJS : TExtObjectList; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     function IsExcluded(ElseJS : ; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     function IsExcluded(ElseJS : TExtObjectList; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     function IsExcluded(ElseJS : ; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     function IsExcluded(ElseJS : TExtObjectList; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     i change it: Code: [Select]    function IsExcluded(ElseJS : TExtObjectList; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     //function IsExcluded(ElseJS : ; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     //function IsExcluded(ElseJS : TExtObjectList; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     //function IsExcluded(ElseJS : ; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     //function IsExcluded(ElseJS : TExtObjectList; X : Integer; Y : Integer) : TExtFunction; overload;     and rebuillt, then output message: Code: [Select]D:\0laz_project\extpascal\svn_extPascal\ExtJSWrapper\Ext .pas(9831,44) Error: Identifier not found "TVarMe"     the source code is: Code: [Select]function GetLegendColor(ElseJS : TVarMe) : TExtFunction;    what can i do? thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Phil · 2012-11-27 23:05 I would report those bugs here: https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/extpascal In the meantime, you could also look at this tool for creating Web apps: http://web.fastermac.net/~MacPgmr/qxotica/QxoticaStatus.html This tool uses the FCGI units from ExtPascal and they do work okay. Thanks. -Phil ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bills · 2012-11-28 01:58 thank u Phil very much. i have download the qooxdoo, and i'm studing its doc. but im not sure the difference between qooxdoo and extpascal. extpascal seams not to be updated, but if qooxdoo can quick dev web app? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Phil · 2012-11-28 02:10 Quote from: bills on November 28, 2012, 02:58:35 ambut im not sure the difference between qooxdoo and extpascal. Very good question. ExtPascal consists of auto-generated Pascal classes that wrap the Ext JS framework. When called from browser client via Ajax, these classes (in compiled app on server) emit JS code that is then sent to browser and executed. qooxdoo is analogous to Ext JS, but with the qxotica tools we're using it to create standalone JavaScript client apps that can optionally be used with a server-side app, for example an FCGI app written in Pascal. Another feature of qooxdoo is that since the client is standalone (not generated dynamically by server), it can easily be wrapped in a PhoneGap native app. So the same JavaScript codebase can be used both for a Web app and a native iOS or Android app. Thanks. -Phil
