lazweb/fcl-web question about sessions

Hi,
I am using Laz 1.0.2 by the way.

I have been playing around with the lazweb/fcl-web demos and want to
use the built in sessions, but I can't seem to
create the session after the user has logged in to my test app
successfully.  It seems the session can only be created
in the web modules on create event?
I don't want a session to be created each time the main logon page is
hit, seems wasteful.

if I move the following from the web modules oncreate to my
process_logon action request handler, no session gets started.
      Mysessiondir:='C:\Apache24\sessions\';
      with (SessionFactory as TIniSessionFactory) do
          begin
               //Session timeout in minutes
               DefaultTimeoutMinutes := 2;
               //Set the session storage location
               SessionDir :=Mysessiondir;
          end;
 CreateSession:=true;

Is this simply a limitation of the built in sessions or is there
something I am missing?
