[RESOLVED] fpWeb + ZeosLib

Group,

I am trying to create an fpWeb application that connects to a database
using ZeosLib. I create a new FCGI application, drop a TZConnection on
the DataModule, rename it to con and then create a procedure called
CreateConnection:

Code: [Select]procedure CreateConnection;
begin
    con.  <<<----- here
end;
The moment I hit the dot, I get an  Error:identifier not found: con. 
In my attempts to get to the bottom of the problem I tried
Adding a new, independent TDataModule (Failed)Including the paths for
each of the five ZeosLib directories in the project (Failed)Attempting
to use something else, TBufDataset (Works, but TBufDataset doesn't cut
it for what I need)Using a different component set, FreeSpider +
ZeosLib (Works, but I was hoping to give fpWeb a chance)Otherwise,
ZeosLib is working very well for me on regular GUI and CUI
applications.

Am I missing something, or doing something wrong?

You must  create the procedure as medoth of the dataModule.
Code: [Select].

porcedure TheDataModuleClassName.CreateConnection;
begin
   con.

end;

.



or use the name of the DataModule:
Code: [Select]procedure CreateConnection;
begin
   TheDataModuleName.con.
end;

Thanks Mando. Turns I had created the procedure manually without using
Shift + Ctrl + C.  Something to remember in future. Thanks once again.
