Another question ( if you can ): How do I set / read cookies with fpWeb components? Rgds ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2012-04-15 11:15 fcl-web/fpweb has no official documentation currently. I ask on the mailing list when I have to do something I don't know yet. Hopefully someday I can compile all those questions and answers as a documentation. QuoteHow do I set / read cookies with fpWeb components?Set TResponse.Cookie (or TResponse.Cookies) to set, check TRequest.Cookie (or TRequest.CookieFields) to get. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- GiovanniF · 2012-04-15 12:29 I tried that but when I read the cookie in FireFox it is always missing the NAME of the cookie itself. I wonder If you could show me an example. Rgds ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2012-04-15 15:37 QuoteI wonder If you could show me an example.Attached (I hope you're using latest release or svn/snapshot version because I made it as a standalone HTTP application project). whoops, I forgot to tell the instruction: try /cookie/get, you'll get "cookie not set"now try /cookie/settry /cookie/get again, you'll get the cookie now ---------------------------------------------------------------------- GiovanniF · 2012-04-20 15:14 You help has been very helpfull! Thank you very much. Regds ---------------------------------------------------------------------- IPguy · 2012-06-22 01:11 Leledumbo, is the testcookie program meant to be a standalone functional program? It compiles / runs ok, but when I point my browser to it (ie: http://localhost:8080), I get: Project project1 raised exception class 'EResNotFound' with message: Resource "TCustomerHTTPModule" not found at address 417740 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2012-06-22 06:54 Quoteis the testcookie program meant to be a standalone functional program?Yes. QuoteProject project1 raised exception class 'EResNotFound' with message: Resource "TCustomerHTTPModule" not foundAre you running from the IDE? If yes, try running outside. AFAIK these are normal in the latest release, seems to have gone in the latest svn though. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- IPguy · 2012-06-22 11:37 re: running from IDE - yes I was.  I'll test running outside of the IDE tonight. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- IPguy · 2012-06-24 00:10 Hint to anyone else who looks at this app: Use the following url: localhost:8080/cookie/get and localhost:8080/cookie/set If you point your browser to localhost:8080, you will get an error message.
