Im new with network programming, and am not sure where to start... Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mica · 2011-10-26 20:05 What want you to do? Synapse is excellent documented btw. http://www.ararat.cz/synapse/doku.php/public:howto http://synapse.ararat.cz/doc/help/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Silvio Clécio · 2011-10-26 20:40 Hi, I use a lot Synapse, see: http://code.google.com/p/lazsolutions/ (Please, download via SVN: http://lazsolutions.googlecode.com/svn) I use SMTP, HTTP(S), IMAP, FTP etc. Good luck. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mica · 2011-10-26 21:04 silvioprog: little OT do you see a way to do a snmp Brodacast with Synapse and receive the anwers like: http://www.agentpp.com/doc_snmp++3.x/classSnmp.html#a16e380bb2de1c8290 940644e441c104 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Goodman H__ · 2011-10-31 01:23 Quote from: silvioprog on October 26, 2011, 10:40:39 pmHi, I use a lot Synapse, see: http://code.google.com/p/lazsolutions/ (Please, download via SVN: http://lazsolutions.googlecode.com/svn) I use SMTP, HTTP(S), IMAP, FTP etc. Good luck. I downloaded the svn and try to build the IDE package and demos as well, however,it always complains some source files can't be found although I've tried to add the paths(almost all the possible paths in the svn) into almost everywhere, say, project options->compiler options->paths; package->options in the build package dialog window. Could you please help?Thank a lot. I don't have interest in HTTP and so on, just raw binary data for gaming purpose. What i have tried so far is numerous test projects and they have 1 thing in common: crashes in weird places. Recent test i did was sending simple string 'test'. Sending 'test' just once with click of a button works always, but adding it in for loop will crash 1 project, and other project had them combine in 1 string, like 'testtesttesttest'. So, i'd also have interest in a simple project that is able to send and receive TCP packets (recognizing where 1 packet ends and other starts), if anyone knows how to do that. And yes, i am aware of manual page: http://synapse.ararat.cz/doc/help/blcksock.TTCPBlockSocket.html edit: Making some progress with RecvBlock(). That's seems like the solution for separating packets. Seems that i solved crashing and other problems. Just my own faults left anymore on authentication code. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tristan_2468 · 2012-06-07 13:38 I use a lot of synapse for sending stuff down (optionally encrypted) sockets, especially in my hgdc-x project: http://hgdcx.canthack.org It's all open source so take a look. Thanks, Tris
