Indy FTP + SSL for Linux lazarus / 38-Networking and Web Programming ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sergechelli · 2022-03-17 22:19 Hi, I need to connect to ftp server with Indy 10 components and SSL (ftps) My code works perfectly on Windows with ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll in the .exe folder. When I try to use the same source code under Linux it does'nt works with this error message : SSL negotiation failed. Do I have to install a special package to compil under Linux ? Do I need to have special files in the folder ? Thank you for your help. Which version of the OpenSSL library files are you using on Linux?  Assuming you are using Indy's default SSLIOHandler for OpenSSL, it only supports OpenSSL 1.0.2 and earlier, is that the version you are using?  What does Indy's IdSSLOpenSSL.OpenSSLVersion() function report?  If you need to use OpenSSL 1.1.x or later, use this SSLIOHandler instead (work-in-progress). Just the library files for OpenSSL. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sergechelli · 2022-03-17 22:49 Hi Remi, Thank you for your response. I am using OpenSSL 1.1.1j  16 feb 2021 If I print the version of Ftp.IOHandler.Version I got : 10.6.2.5475 The github link does'nt works :-( Serge ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Remy Lebeau · 2022-03-17 23:47 Quote from: sergechelli on March 17, 2022, 11:49:33 pmI am using OpenSSL 1.1.1j  16 feb 2021 Then you cannot use the default SSLIOHandler, as it does not support that version of OpenSSL.  You must use the WIP SSLIOHandler on GitHub. Quote from: sergechelli on March 17, 2022, 11:49:33 pmIf I print the version of Ftp.IOHandler.Version I got : 10.6.2.5475 That is the Indy version, not the OpenSSL version.  After Indy has loaded OpenSSL into memory, you can call the OpenSSLVersion() function in the IdSSLOpenSSL unit, as I stated in my previous reply.
