Search for string in https web page

I am looking for a way to search IF a web HTTPS page contains a
specified string.
I was searching on google and I found this thread

But it crashes with https pages, maybe the great wp programmed it for
http
I have changed http to https but it crash anyway.

I want to make a little bot where I specify in a .txt file a list of
url, and in that url list the bot should open each link in a cycle to
search for that string and if present to show me the link that contain
that string.
I do not know how to start

I assume you're refering to this which uses TFPHttpClient. For HTTPS
you need a bit more code in the uses list (ssockets, sslsockets) and a
third-party library like OpenSSL for TLS, see here.
