Running an app build with Lazarus 32bits on Ubuntu 16.04 64bits does
not get the right GTK theme.

Already installed gtk2-engines.

Is it gtk2 widgetset under ubuntu or qt ?

The "Current LCL widgetset" of the project is "gtk2".

In that case other pure gtk2 (non lcl) applications have same problem.

Is this a question? I cannot confirm that.

My guess is the 32bit app on a 64 system.

I'll write a demo app with Laz64 to compare and post the results here.

Solved by installing these packages on Ubuntu 64:

gtk2-engines-pixbuf:i386
gtk2-engines:i386

Yes I meant that other 32bit gtk2 apps have same problem....theme
package was missing. Glad that it works for you now
