Hiding a form on a Raspberry Pi lazarus / 32-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MadMike · 2014-02-19 15:06 Hi, I made a form that selects a monitor test pattern (image) and then displays this in a full screen Timage in a second form (maximized, boarder style = bsNone). The second form starts off visible:= false, then is made visible after a test pattern is selected and the "Go" button is clicked. I'm trying to make this second form invisible again when the second form is clicked (so the first form is revealed and the test pattern can be changed). I'm not having a lot of luck. I tried 'form2.visible:= false' in a Tform2.Image1.Click procedure and various other places with no success. I'm still paddling in the shallow end when it comes to programming, so any comments appreciated. Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MadMike · 2014-02-26 10:14 You can stop scratching your heads now. I worked it out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2014-02-26 10:49 Nice to hear you solved it. Would be nice if you posted the solution as well... might help the next guy with this problem... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MadMike · 2014-02-26 11:21 Well, I changed the way i looked at things - instead of one form calling another I put the nimage on the main form, hid the 'select image' and 'go' buttons (visible:= false) when the test pattern was selected and showed them again when the mouse button was clicked anywhere on the image. So I suppose I didn't solve the problem, I just worked around it. It would still be nice to know how I can use buttons and such on the second form to hide, close or transfer focus back to the first.
