Java byte code? lazarus / 32-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jdredd · 2014-02-11 18:39 Odd ball question, and sorry if wrong area. Couldn't find a better place. FPC section is virtually dead. I followed this and example works. http://wiki.freepascal.org/FPC_JVM Is there more indept documentation? is this still even being worked on? If so... Can I write a small chunk of code, a deliver it to a java developer, and he can incorporate this into this deal, and he could call my code.. i do my magic, and be able have data that he call pull out / access? Reason I ask is I have a nice set of simple but long rountines written over a few years. I would need to connect to a JDBC connection in Linux, do my work, create some objects to store the data to be easily accessed. Does this give me the ability to do so, or am I just asking way to much here? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jdredd · 2014-02-11 18:52 Or would this be a better job for doing a .so library file? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2014-02-12 06:36 QuoteIs there more indept documentation? No ATM Quoteis this still even being worked on?Yes, by logic if it's available only in trunk version then it's still being worked on QuoteCan I write a small chunk of code, a deliver it to a java developer, and he can incorporate this into this deal, and he could call my code.. i do my magic, and be able have data that he call pull out / access?Yes, this should work, just watch out the case sensitive export of Java classes written in FPC JVM QuoteReason I ask is I have a nice set of simple but long rountines written over a few years.
