Drag & Drop from own App to another App

Is there anybody who had done those thing successfully?
Currently, I work with Kubuntu 10.04 and Lazarus 0.9.28, but using
GTK2 Widget Set.

Just Drag & Drop some lines of text would be ok.

If I place a TEdit or TMemo on my Form, then it's possible to Drag &
Drop the contained
text e.g. to an external text editor or to Open Office, but how do I
implement this for
my own controls?

That does not really help anybody - unless they understand german,
then there maybe is a chance...
What do the rest of us do?
