CentOS7, wrong at Online Package Manager lazarus / 32-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- senglit · 2022-02-05 15:57 Hi all, I installed the newest version lazarus on CentOS7. It seems working at first. I can create project, run and debug it. But when I go to install packages with Online Package Manager, I got a blank window. First, there was a dialog with title of my empty project1 but without any messages. After I closed the dialog, it seems the OPM got the JSON data because sometime when I moved my mouse on the form I could see the HINT. But nothing was showing on the form and the dialog kept pop up so that I could not choose and install the package. When I installed it, I did the following: 1. install fpc 2. install fpc-src 3. yum install gtk2 gtk2-devel 4. make clean bigide and now I have fpc3.2.2 [2021/05/16] for x86_64, gtk2-2.24.31-1.el7.x86_64 and gtk2-devel-2.24.31-1.el7.x86_64 in my system. How can I solve this problem? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- balazsszekely · 2022-02-05 18:29 Hi senglit, Unfortunately I have no idea what's happening, it looks like a VirtualStringTree bug. I will install CentOS7 to a virtual machine and see if I can fix the issue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- senglit · 2022-02-05 18:37 I just send the link of this topic in ThirdParty OPM thread and then I see your reply here. Thanks for your quick notice! Quote from: GetMem on February 05, 2022, 07:29:30 pmHi senglit, Unfortunately I have no idea what's happening, it looks like a VirtualStringTree bug. Sorry, but I don't know how to help with this issue. PS: On the positive side CentOS it's cool distro. I like it! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- senglit · 2022-02-07 03:10 Thanks for your efforts. I guess there must be something wrong with my gtk lib. Maybe it's changed by some of my other apps. I will dig and see what happened with my system.
