External: SIGSEGV error lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Conte · 2021-09-24 21:04 I have a form and a datamodule. I am making a connection to a local oracle db and showing the result to a dbgrid. I am using Zeos connection. When I compile i have no errors, when I run a "select" i have this error back: (https://i.postimg.cc/J0HfCn8f/Cattura.png) Is the problem oracle? I have switched to Lazarus to enjoy zeos connection cause on Delphi community I don't have oracle driver for free. A good reason to know lazarus but on Delphi it was working  This is the code: Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 = document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x = document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i unit form1; {$mode objfpc}{$H+} interface uses  Classes, SysUtils, Forms, Controls, Graphics, Dialogs, DBGrids, StdCtrls,  datamodule1; type   { TLogin }   TLogin = class(TForm)    Button1: TButton;    DBGrid1: TDBGrid;    procedure Button1Click(Sender: TObject);  private   public   end; var  Login: TLogin; implementation {$R *.lfm} { TLogin }   procedure TLogin.Button1Click(Sender: TObject);begin   oraclemng.ZQuery1.sql.Add('select * from help');   oraclemng.zquery1.open;end; end.  This is the line going in error: oraclemng.ZQuery1.sql.Add('select * from help'); oraclemng.zquery1.open; [Edited to fix the code tags - please read How to use the Forum.] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- loaded · 2021-09-25 07:21 I think that your query structure will be similar to this one, and it will help you overcome some problems. Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 = document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x = document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i   if ZConnection1.Connected then  begin    try      ZQuery1.SQL.Clear;    ZQuery1.SQL.Add('select * from help');      Zquery1.ExecSQL;    except      on E: Exception do  ShowMessage(E.ClassName+' --> Error :  '+E.Message);    end;  end  else  begin  Showmessage('Database Not Connected');  end; ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Conte · 2021-09-26 16:18 Solved adding Application.CreateForm(TDataModule1, DataModule1); in the project lpr file.
