[Solved] Firebird Version 3.0.5.33220 Bug?

I have been using Firebird for a number of years and various versions.
One annoyance I have noticed is that in String Fields, occasionally an
errant Carriage Return character will be inserted while saving the
field. It can be random, and it can be in different locations within
the string. If I edit the field, find the invisible character and
delete and save, that usually rectifies the problem.

Thus far, it seems to be limited to VARCHAR() fields of any length,
and I have never seen it occur within formatted memos (Richedit
fields).

Has anyone encountered this? Is there a fix for this issue?
