Format Currency from sqlite database on a Mac

Hi All,
I have a program I am developing on my PC.
The cueency part of the database is set to ftCurrency.
On my PC (windows 10) it works like a charm.
On my Mac (Big Sur) I get Real values only with many decimal places.
I have fixed this in the DBGrid with DisplayFormat to '$#.00'

But with the DBedit fields I get real values only.
Any ideas on how to get this working on the Mac like my PC
