Hi all,

I want to decrease a sequence generator of dataset ( PK FIELD) after
doing a rollback. I am u FireBird DataBase.

I advise against it. There is no guarantee that generator has not been
altered by another connection.

I agree with you .I will abandon this idea and redefine PK as bigint

SELECT GEN_ID(GENERATOR_NAME, -1) FROM RDB$DATABASE
Not recommended in multi user, because Set/Get generators is out of
transaction in FirebirdSQL. Only in single user environment.
