Unable to type smth. into DBMemo

Hi there,
Seems to be a stupid question 
When I put DBMemo on form it's impossible to type something into this
control. ReadOnly = FALSE.
Is it possible to make TDBMemo writable like a TMemo?

Sure. Did you set the DataField and DataSource? They're required.

Yes. It works fine with DB and shows text fields from it. But
sometimes I want to edit some text fields and come accross with
impossibility to enter text into DBMemo.
