No such table: Film lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- linuxdesire · 2020-04-14 16:28 Hello everyone; Very perplexed with this: I have a SQLite3 database name "move.db" and the table is "film". When I right click on SQLQuery1 to add field and test it, I get the following: It was not possible to get the dataset field's list. Check dataset settings; SQLite3Connection1: no such table film. My SQLiteConnection1 is pointing to movie.db My SQLQuery1 is pointing to SQLite3Connection1 SQLTransaction1 is pointing to SQLite3Connection1 DataSource1 is pointing to SQLQuery1 SQLQuery1, the SQL is,  select * from film;  when I click on results I get "SQLite3Connection1: no such table: film I have sqlite3.dll in the same folder of my project. It is the right OS, I have a 64bit OS and the .dll was downloaded from SQLIte website the 64bit. I have a DBMemo1:  TDBMemo and it is getting the information from the database. I also have an image and that image is showing. Just the data in the Datagrid is not showing. Hope this was enough information. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2020-04-14 16:39 I'm no sqlite expert, but from your setup, the word "film" doesn't seem to feature as a SQLDB property anywhere, only in the SQL text. Since sqldb tries to parse your SQL text, this means it has no concept of the tablename. My guess is that you need to set sqlquery.tablename to film ---------------------------------------------------------------------- linuxdesire · 2020-04-14 16:47 Thank you for answering. Not sure about where to set sqlquery.tablename to film at in the object inspector. I put it in the unit1.lfm and ran it and it went away. So still working on it. Thank you for replying. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- af0815 · 2020-04-14 18:37 you must have the sqlite.dll in two places. For designtime in the folder of the lazarus.exe AND the folder of the executable of the project at runtime. i think the designtime is not working ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JanRoza · 2020-04-14 20:45 Are you sure that the dbconnection, sqltransaction and the query all have active set to true? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- linuxdesire · 2020-04-14 23:41 Thank you af0815. I only have the .dll in the projects folder. JanRoza - JACKPOT, I did not have the SQLQuery1  Active, it was set to false. Thank you to both for the prompt help. I am really liking PASCAL. I have been working with C# and Python. Python is suppose to be fun, but I am finding this is more fun. Thank you again .
