multi column, multi table list - possible multi file relationships

Hi,

Just trying to understand limitations of firebird vs sqlite to see if
following possible in both.

I have 3 tables ABC linked through a relationship with 4th D.

ABC have 1 date column each.

1.  Is it possible to create an sql command which creates a single
list combining the date column from all 3 tables ABC, and show that
list in date order?    How?

2.  Would (1) be possible if one of the 4 tables was in a separate
database file.  So relationship and sql command would have to go
across 2 physical files.

3.  I suppose (2) is really asking whether its possible to make a
virtual database from multiple physical database files.
