Lazarus IDE v1.8.4,  MySql 5.7, MySQL Shell 8.0.12, Windows 10 Home
64-bit

Hi, I am trying to link a MySQL database with Lazarus to make a simple
app for learning.
Is there a simple tutorial / video/ documentation I can follow to do
this as I am having problems.
I am looking for the basic settings just to get it running. I can
access and edit the database from MySQL shell without problem.
One problem I have experienced is that the error message below comes
up when I have tried to connect it with MySQL57Connection1.

"Can not load default MySQL library (“libmysql.dll” or
“libmysql.dll”). Check your installation."

I am a beginner so please keep it simple!
Thank you.
