spaces in DBEdit box

Hello,
is there any to trim the space automatically for db text fields in the
client side, or set it up as default in server side? I searched around
but found no result.

how the DBEdit or DBMemo boxes has excessive spaces on them even if I
tried to delete them in data.

for a DBLookupCombo box, I added TRIM() in SQL command but doing it
for all the fields would be quite a problem.

I am using Firebird 3 and Lazarus 1.8.4 on Windows 10 64 bit.

Sorry I found it. I should use VARCHAR instead of CHAR on server side.
