Default SQLDB TSQLTransaction transaction params for Firebird 2.5 lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Unvictis · 2017-01-28 12:02 Hi everyone! First I want to thank the team of FreePascal and Lazarus for such a wonderful free products and their many years of hard work! You make the world a better place! Happy to continue the immersion in the Lazarus SQLDB and Firebird. In this regard, I want to know what the default params (if TSQLTransaction.Params.Text = ";) starts a transaction for Firebird 2.5 (for Lazarus 1.6.2)? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mangakissa · 2017-01-29 16:26 Firebird always create a transaction file when you get data from. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Unvictis · 2017-01-30 14:28 Quote from: mangakissa on January 29, 2017, 05:26:00 pmFirebird always create a transaction file when you get data from. Yes, I know that Firebird starts a transaction in any action with a dataset (read, write, edit etc..). I need to know what parameters (isc_tpb_nowait or isc_tpb_wait / isc_tpb_read_committed or isc_tpb_concurrency etc..) starts a transaction unless explicitly not specified parameters (default). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rvk · 2017-01-30 15:36 I'm not sure if FPC overrides the default from Firebird but if no options are provided these are the default: isc_tpb_write isc_tpb_wait isc_tpb_concurrency ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Unvictis · 2017-01-30 15:41 Quote from: rvk on January 30, 2017, 04:36:52 pmI'm not sure if FPC overrides the default from Firebird but if no options are provided these are the default: isc_tpb_write isc_tpb_wait isc_tpb_concurrency Thanks, I got the answer to my question!
