Hello, first excuse me for my English, my default language is Spanish.


I am using Lazarus 1.6 + Mariadb + Zeos 7.1.3a + TZMSQL 0.1.19. My OS
is Linux Mint 17.2 x64 MATE.
mysql  Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.1.17-MariaDB, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64)
using readline 5.2


I have this error.

SQL Error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

I am using a localhost:3306

The solutions I found on the web have not worked.

I had an error in the protocol connection of ZConnection.

Incorrect: mysqld-5

Correct: mysql-5
