Update to MS Access table isn't working

Hi

I have a form with a DBNavigator on it, with DBEdit's for the
individual fields.
When I run the application I see the data in the table without any
issues (so I assume that the ODBC Connection, SQL Transaction and SQL
Query etc are fine).

I can navigate through the data and change/insert records - except
that the data is NOT updated to the table. The code in the forms close
event handler looks as follows:
if dmoGreenspace.SQLqryUsers.ChangeCount > 0 then
     dmoGreenspace.SQLqryUsers.ApplyUpdates(0);

I've checked that the value of ChangeCount is correct and it is
definitely > 0. Checked that the connection is open/active and done
all the obvious things I can think of.

What am I missing? Thanks for any input.
