ApplyUpdates after connection was lost?

Once you try to ApplyUpdates when network connection was lost you get
exception - Error writing from the connection.
Once network connection is restored it gives - Error writing to the
connection.

Is there any way to keep data and post it into db after network
connection was restored?

IMO it depends on DB if client library supports reconnection in case
of breaked connection ...
