TDBLookupComboBox alignment lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- madref · 2016-06-22 16:36 Is it possible to right-align or center the text in a TDBLookupComboBox? And if Yes? How then? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rvk · 2016-06-22 18:13 Does setting BiDiMode to bdRightToLeft work? http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/BidiMode#bdRightToLeft Edit: I guess not. I see on the wiki it's not implemented for cocoa. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- madref · 2016-06-22 23:18 This su**s. I am starting to hate my apple when i have to program it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- madref · 2016-07-10 21:17 Is this even possible for other components like TDBEdit or TEdit? that is in cocoa? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- madref · 2017-12-26 23:08 I know this is an old one. But i want to know if this has changed since Lazarus 1.8.0? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wp · 2017-12-26 23:26 I never tried to right-align or center the text in a DBLookupCombo, but it has a Style property which you can set to OwnerDraw, and thus you can paint the items all by yourself, and this property has been there at least since Laz 1.0 (which is the oldest one that I have on my disk). TDBEdit inherits Alignment (taLeftJustify, taRightJustify, taCenter) from its ancestor TCustomEdir where it is public, this means you can change it by code, but not in object inspector. In TEdit, Aligment is published, i.e. can be changed by the object inspector. No idea if this works on Cocoa - just try. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rvk · 2017-12-27 00:37 Quote from: madref on December 27, 2017, 12:08:58 amBut i want to know if this has changed since Lazarus 1.8.0? Did you enter a bug entry or feature request in the bugtracker back then? If not, then what are you waiting for...? It probably won't be fixed by itself.
