MemDataset not throwing exception for faRequired

Hi,

I'musing Laz 1.6 on OSX and Windows, I'm using a MemDataset and have
set a TFieldDef attribute of faRequired, when I post the record with
an empty field it doesn't raise the exception.

Has anyone else experienced this and over come ?

In FPC 3.0 it should work.
Can you provide code sample which demonstrates error ?
