SQLite with Zeoslib is too slow for me lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vfclists · 2016-05-11 12:48 I am using SQLite3 with Zeoslib 7.1.3 and although the tables in are very small in size navigating and edit lots of records is too slow. I suspect that it is due to AutoCommit turned on and some other transaction related settings that slow it down.  The database is a small local database and I don't thnk I need all those kind of settings which are probably slowing it down. Are there some settings which must be disabled to speed it up? I just want to use it a small local datastore without it using the stuff which applies to transactional multiuser databases. A Google search about SQLite speed produces this link https://www.sqlite.org/faq.html#q19 which covers INSERT, but I am interested in fast navigation for reads and not just inserting or editing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- abouchez · 2016-05-11 13:13 1.
