TDbf Insert and Edit

I have a simple TDbf file with no indexes. The first Insert....Post
works. The second fails with the message "dataset not in an edit or
insert state ? Misterious !

Try Append instead of Insert.

I 've already tried that. Append fails on the first time. The only way
I could get around it is that I have closed then opened the file. But
it sill fails the insert after an Edit.

I've found a workaround. I had an ftMemo field in the Table and after
I changed it to ftString, it worked OK
