Field width query

At run time, I need to determine the length of a character field in a
table.  I can access the name with code similar to the following:

Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]window.onload = function(){var x1 =
document.getElementById("main_content_section"); if (x1) { var x =
document.getElementsByClassName("geshi");for (var i = 0; i
Query1.sql.text:= "select * from
mytable";Query1.open;Name:=Query1.Fields[0].fieldname;
Is there a similar request for field length?  I have searched but so
far have found nothing.  It may be very obvious and I am missing it.
