I want to create a visual component DB. Prompt example using
TComponentDataLink. Tell me where I can read.

TComponentDataLink is located in dbgrid.pas
Is your intention to create visual component, which handles whole
dataset (like TDBGrid) or which handled one field in active record
(like TDBEdit) ?
If later then look into dbctrls.pp at TFieldDataLink or more general
TDataLink in db.pas

I want to create a component that will handle the entire data set. I
look at what's inside the component TDBGrid. I can not understand how
to change the data in the set when they are edited in a component. I
think when you start editing a call method Edith and then make
changes. Then call the Post.
