For the past year i use zeos lib 7.1.4 stable. It works great. When i
look around i see that there is a 7.2 and a 7.3 test version. Does any
one know when there is a new stable version or can i use 7.3 test
version?

According to this post (among others), the 7.2 series can be used in
place of 7.1.4 stable

Version ZEOS 7.3 is in development stage (OLEDB and ODBC).
You can use version 7.2 from svn (currently svn 3661):
http://svn.code.sf.net/p/zeoslib/code-0/branches/testing-7.2/
It is no less stable than 7.1.4 but faster.

Faster? Can i notice the speed difference when i just use select
querys? (I will try this week)
