dblookupcombobox speed

In the case of a large dataset dblookupcombobox freezes my program.
If I set sorted:=False -  is ok.
But then dblookupcombobox does not search the value from the keyboard.

I suffered before using the DBLookupComboBox, so I will try to help
you as much as I can (and remember ).

What do you mean "value from keyboard?
DBLookupCombBox has autocomplete which locates the value as you type
in.

Sorted property. It is not wise to use that on very long list. If you
have long list of entries, it is better to be sorted at the server
side instead (sql order by clause).

Also watch out in case of duplicates, it locates the first item every
time you select the duplicated item irrespective of the order.
