Anyone uses FBLib, active maintenance?

I need lightweight connectivity to insert into Firebird DB from a
daemon.
Found this lib and find it very well written and useful for my task.
Although I have some suggestions related to parameters handling,
etc...

Any other better alternatives to be considered?

Seems Graeme still uses fblib.

Mostly people seem to use sqldb or zeos nowadays.

IBX for Lazarus is also good. More up to date than FBLib. See
