MySQL connection

Sorry - once more, i read about such a problem before !

I installed Lazarus (version 1.2.6) tried it with the 32 bit und with
an 64 bit architecture installation. Tried to connect to MySQL
(5.6.22) Win64 running on an Win64 CPU-architecture.
I copied a file named libmysql.dll (version 5.6.23) into my project
folder, where i generate my execuatable.
An error message "Can not load default library "libmysql.dll" Check
your installation" persuaded me to install lazarus again. I did so
(this time the 64 bit version) without getting rid of the error
message. I use a MySQLConnection component and when i set the
attribute connected to TRUE the error occures.

Could someone help me? Is there a solution?

You must check these two things:
- if you use 64bit version of Lazarus , you must use also 64 bit
version of libmysql.dll
- if you want set Connected=True in Lazarus IDE (when developing
application), then you must copy libmysql.dll to folder where is
lazarus.exe, when you run compiled application, then libmysql.dll must
be in folder where you have application exe.

 The dll has to be in the lazarus directory. Thanks!
