oracleconnection: sqlquery:Missing (compatible) underlying dataset, can not open lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- flamer0n · 2014-12-01 15:35 I found a problem but I don't know how to fix it or apply any workaround. The problem is with sqldb's oracleconnection, specifically TSQLQuery:  - If a table contains a BLOB field, TSQLQuery raises an unknown exception, takes me straight to disassembler (that I don't seem to be able to catch it).  - Same happens with Lazarus IDE when setting sqlquery.sql and then Active:=True (or just when setting sql strings in helper dialog right after pressing "RUN" - it crashes LazarusIDE). If I include only that field in the select statement (ie. [select blobField from table]) the exception occurs ("Missing (compatible) underlying dataset, can not open") and gets handled, but if select query is smth like [select * from table] (or, [select id,blobField from table])  then exception cannot be caught, instead crashes the app. Any idea?
