I'm very grateful for the dbf and I see it's potential but,
This must be a bug.
DBF Tablelevel 30. ftAutoInc field switches to ftInteger by itself
when I activate the DBF1 !

Also,I discovered that You can't have fieldname longer than 8
charachters.
If you have a long fieldname,it will be cut to 10 charachters on
activate.

No sample code, no Lazarus/FPC version, no info about operating
system. Sorry, but I can't help you then.

So what happens if you have 9 character field name?

As indicated there, Visual FoxPro/tablelevel 30 has 10 characters

Why is it that ftAutoInc field, autochange to ftInteger, on
Activate=True ? Bug?

I have deleted the old dbf file before and it should not interfere,
thow I empty the file also in trashcan!

It could be a bug. It might not be.
