Lazarus 1.2.2 sqlite3conn.pp Error: Identifier not found "EncodeTimeInterval" lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lazguy · 2014-04-29 21:16 I have a project that builds ok on Lazarus 0.9.30.2 - F.P.C. 2.4.4 I just installed Lazarus 1.2.2 - F.P.C. 2.6.4 When I try to build the project I got the error: F:\lazarus122\fpc\2.6.4\source\packages\fcl- db\src\sqldb\sqlite\sqlite3conn.pp(549,37) Error: Identifier not found "EncodeTimeInterval" Please, how can I solve this ? Thank you in advance ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2014-04-30 03:50 add dateutils to your uses clause would be a good start then you need to check if those 2 do the same job and its a simple move from one unit to an other or something else is going on. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LacaK · 2014-04-30 05:13 Very strange situation. DateUtils is included in uses clause of sqlite3conn ... may be that, you have somewhere on your path other version of DateUtils, which does not contain EncodeTimeInterval ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2014-04-30 09:10 The compiler should use the prepackaged ppu's, and never the source. Afaik the fact that it tries to compile the FCL source during an application compilation indicates something fishy with the installation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lazguy · 2014-04-30 13:33 Thank you Everybody!!! Problem Solved !!!! I am using fparchive 3.05 downloaded from http://sourceforge.net/projects/lazarus- ccr/files/Code%20and%20Component%20Packages/ and it comes with dateutils.pp (certainly an old version). I deleted this file and everything worked again. I think this file should not be in that package. It's a bug that caused problems with me and possibly with others too. So, I think that package maintainers should remove this file from the package. Thank you Very Much !!!!!
