TDBF error: Could not find the requested record lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bill0287 · 2014-01-30 00:14 I have a small app that had some database tables that were being used on other forms. I cut and pasted all those components onto some tabs on my main form. When I try to delete a record: 1. I get a confirmation pop-up that asks if I want to delete the record 2. The record is deleted 3. Then I get a popup that says "TableDBf: Could not find the requested record" Press OK to ignore...etc The table have not moved or changed at all and the original version of the app works fine. It also happens with newly created records. What would possibly cause this error? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mangakissa · 2014-01-30 08:34 I can't reproduce your error. Some information should help: - Lazarus / FPC version - TDBF version - OS - A example as attachment - DBF version (III, IV, windows) - which indexes. It could be an index problem. The record is deleted in your dataset but physically not found in the index. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bill0287 · 2014-02-01 04:01 I haven't been able to reproduce the error either - only one large project is doing this. I have just started rebuilding it from scratch to see if it occurs again. Thanks for looking at this though.
