Employee.fdb and Tsqlscript standalone lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ronhud · 2013-11-27 11:04 I am trying to follow the tutorial (SQLdb Tutorial0) re using Lazarus with Firebird.   The employee.fdb in the Firebird folders does not have any tables in it.    The tutorial refers to Tsqlscript a an application to be found in the lazarus examples database directory that can be used to run sql scripts and with which I could put the tables into the employee database.    However thisapplication does not appear in the Lazarus examples database folder.   There is a link to download it but when I go to the link there is no option to download.   Can anyone help please - the objective is to get the employee.dbf complete as described in the tutorial. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2013-11-27 11:31 Strange that your employee.fdb has no tables in it. What tool did you use to check it? The link works for me: http://svn2.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/trunk/examples/database/tsqlscr ipt/ download all those files in a directory, doubleclick on tsqlscriptsample.lpr and Lazarus will open. Run/Compile and you should get an executable. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ronhud · 2013-11-27 11:58 Just installed FlameRobin and it shows the tables are all there.     Thanks for the reply. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2013-11-27 15:37 Great. Please post again if you hit more snags/have questions!
