Problem with DBCheckbox lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bartlebee · 2013-11-21 21:27 I am still fairly new at this, but I will try to explain myself. I've connected the DBGrid to a DBQuery1 which selects the table in sqlite and uploads the information unto the grid. On the side I have put plenty of DBedit's that represent each column label of the DBGrid table, and show one row of information at a time. Either way, everything connects beautifully between my project database and sqlite for the most part. I added some DBCheckboxes on the side as well underneath the DBedits. I made a button called 'Update' which has the following code: procedure TVendor_Master.Button3Click(Sender: TObject); begin   SQLQuery1.Edit;   SQLQuery1.Upda]"]>Blockedde:=UpWhereChanged;   SQLQuery1.ApplyUpdates;   SQLTransaction1.Commit;   SQLQuery1.Close;   SQLQuery1.Open; end; When I edit the DBEDits on the side and press the update button, everything works smoothly. The database row is updated. But when I edit any of the DBCheckbox's and press "update," it immediately updates the row, as usual, along with all the rows that follow it. In other words, if I edit the 2nd row's DBCheckboxes, the 2nd row is updated, but rows 3 to the bottom of the database become copies of my second row. Why is this problem only happening with the checkboxes and not the edits? Why does it make clones of itself with those below it? please help. Update: I replaced all the dbcheckboxes with dbedits. But the 5 new dbedits arent working? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LacaK · 2013-11-22 06:25 IMO it is related to Upda]"]>Blockedde = upWhereChanged Do you have defined on table primary key ?
