A constraint BOOLEAN is created as an alias, but the field is integer. After getting the requested query, the dataset will be showed into a DBGrid. In TDBGrid.optionsextra dgeCheckboxcolumn is enabled. But TDBGrid only shows 0 or 1. Columns created and linked the datafield. set the TColumns.valuechecked to 1 and TColumns.valuechecked to 0 (default). Still, there are no checkboxes in my DBGrid. How can I make it work correctly? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EgonHugeist · 2013-11-05 17:31 Nothing prevents you to add a TBoolean-calculated Field which wraps your Boolean-Field improvements (e.g. TinyInt)... Than use this Field for chour Check-Boxes. Btw. ABool-Field Char(1) charecterset Octets; would be the smallest value you can use for FB. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jesusr · 2013-11-05 17:44 Quote from: mangakissa on November 05, 2013, 02:35:42 pmFirebird database, a table created with some booleanfields. OptionsExtra.dgeCheckboxColumn enables or disables the feature "enable checkbox in column". If you turn it off, even if you select cbsCheckboxColumn as described below, a checkbox will not appear. OptionsExtra.dgeCheckboxColumn  option is for those cases when the grid automatically selects to display checkboxes in a column, but you don't want this automatic behaviour, needs to be reevaluated if this option is really useful.... To enable checkbox column, select the column you want  and change the ButtonStyle property to cbsCheckboxColumn, then as you has done before, choose what means "checked" and "unchecked" with ValueChecked and ValueUnChecked properties.
