But i cant open your url still. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Rails · 2013-08-30 13:42 I've heard that sourceforge is blocked by some ISPs/governments/???. Sorry, but I don't know how to check on that.  Perhaps someone else here knows. If you are blocked directly, you could always consider using Tor to bypass the block, unless it is illegal in your country. https://www.torproject.org/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike.Cornflake · 2013-08-30 15:26 And I've worked for many companies that block sourceforge through their firewalls.  Not a problem when you're working in an office and have a home to go to, right royal pain in the neck when you're working on a boat for 6 weeks, and you've only got company provided internet... Which reminds me, I still need to investigate installing a SSH server at home... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Rails · 2013-08-30 15:43 Any idea why companies see a need to block sourceforge? I'm curious as to their reasoning. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike.Cornflake · 2013-08-30 17:15 "Improper use of company resources..."  or even "The site you attempting to connect to has been categorized as a Download Site.  Please seek permission from your Administrator if you feel this is incorrect"  Vessel in the South China Sea, Administrator in Norway!  Guess what my chances are!  Ah, I'm ranting.  Time to go to bed :-)
