[SOLVED] Tdbf ddl

I need to convert some DBF files to sql - there is a lot of them - so
i would like to automate the conversion.  There is an additional
problem - most of the files/tables have important info in the file
name (very bad design) so i need to extract data  from the file name
and the table itself.  I know how to extract the info from the
filename , but i dont know how to extract the fieldnames and
fieldtypes from the DDL - i could extract the fieldnames from a data-
aware dbgrid, but i am sure there is a more direct approach.  I guess
this is more a DBase question than a Lazarus one.   Any help
appreciated.

You mean walking TDBF.FieldDefs?

Thanks BigChimp - FieldDefs was exactly what I needed ...   lol  i was
looking for a more 'complicated' solution
