[Firebird + Zeos] Can't connect to server

I'm working on Zeos + Firebird.
My app works perfectly on the server, but can't find DB from the
client in a LAN.
This is my config
--------------------------------------
Server:
Database path = c:\db.fdb
Alias = db = c:\db.fdb

Client:
Alias = db = ServerIP:c:\db.fdb

Zconnection.database = db
-------------------------------------------

Is something wrong ?
Flamerobin can connect from the client, my app, no.
Help please.

You should use:

TZConnection.Host = YourServer_IP;
TZConnection.Port = YourServer_Port;

Hi
Did you remember the Firebird client library?!? Zeos needs that in
order to connect to the Firebird server.
On windows it's called "fbclient.dll" and is mostly located in the
system directory.
Hint: http://www.destructor.de/firebird/minimumclient.htm
On linux, try googling it

Yes, fbclient.dll it's in system folder.
As i said, flamerobin works.

Does the bitness match - i.e. are you using a 32 bit fbclient.dll with
a 32 bit application or a 64 bit fbclient with a 64 bit application?

If Flamerobin works on your machine, the problem obviously is with
your code (or Zeos), so I think actuall source snippets may be handy
(instead of just mentioning "I think I tried that").
Don't use Zeos myself though, but others may be able to help you.

Finally, please specify OS+Lazarus+FPC version, see my signature - a
good way to do this is to put it in your profile signature so it
appears with every post on the forum.

I'm using 32bit firebird on Windows XP 32bit and Lazarus 1.1 32bit +
FPC 2.6.1 + Zeos 7.1.0 alpha.
I will try the zconnection settings without alias.

I tried without alias, with absolute path for DB, 3050 for port and ..
IT WORKS !
