SQLdb RegisterConnection and TConnectionDef

hi all
I need some clarification about subject.

I'm using SqlConnector from code and I found the procedures:
- RegisterConnection
- GetConnectionList

In IBConnection unit, the interface section, I find the definition
   TIBConnectionDef = Class (TConnectionDef)
     Class Function TypeName: String; override;
     Class Function ConnectionClass: TSQLConnectionClass; override;
     Class Function Description: String; override;
   end;

and in the initialization section:
initialization
   RegisterConnection (TIBConnectionDef);


Now, theoretically, if I use the procedure GetConnectionList I
imagined to get a list of connections already registered. Not so: the
returned list is empty. If I use instead:
    RegisterConnection (IBConnection.TIBConnectionDef);

GetConnectionList returns a single item: "Firebird".

Something wrong in my code (and therefore not working for me something
that would work) or should I provide for the registration as I have
described?

Another question. In unit sqlite3conn I do not find a statement
TSQLite3ConnectionDef nor (obviously) recording in initialization
section.

Is a lack in the unit sqlite3conn or, as found in IBConnection is
useless, and so it was not implemented in other databases?

No there is no need to do it manualy

It was added some months ago, now it is already in FPC 2.6.2

Intention is to have it for all sqlDB connections ... and it is
implemented in trunk (FPC 2.7.1) for all sqlDB connections
