SQLite - more than one Sqlite3Dataset connected to the same database lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dibo · 2012-12-28 06:36 Hi, I know that only one instance of application can connect to sqlite database at same time, but is it save to use more than one TSqlite3Dataset opened on different tables but in this same database? Because each Sqlite3Dataset create new handle for sqlite library. What if two datasets start transaction? Regards ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2012-12-28 08:49 No idea. Why don't you use SQLDB's TSQLite3Connection with one transaction coupled to it; then you can link multiple TSQLQueries to that, giving you multiple datasets, all in the same transaction. Another advantage is that you can switch databases more easily (i.e. just change the TSQL*Connection) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dibo · 2012-12-28 11:48 Quote from: BigChimp on December 28, 2012, 09:49:30 amWhy don't you use SQLDB's TSQLite3Connection with one transaction coupled to it; then you can link multiple TSQLQueries to that, giving you multiple datasets, all in the same transaction. I used it but I stuck in some issue. But now is ok
